Governance, not a timer
Most 'proactive' assistants are a cron job plus a poll. pi scores every incoming signal against quiet hours, a daily interruption budget, and what it's learned you care about — then acts now, batches into a digest, or stays silent. Every silence is logged with a reason, and you can tell it 'should have told me' to retrain the policy.
Memory you can see
What pi remembers about you compounds across every conversation and every agent working on your behalf — and it's never a black box. Search it, correct it, delete it, in a memory browser built for exactly that.
Trust by construction
Every customer gets a hard-isolated microVM — not a shared process with your data mixed into someone else's context. Bring your own model key if you want your conversations never touching a shared inference account at all.
Placeholder tiers for the alpha — names, boundaries, and prices are all still being finalized. What won't change: idle instances cost us (and you) close to nothing, which is what makes a genuinely cheap tier possible.
